About Beth

Beth Munro stormed to a sensational silver in just her second international competition to become Paralympics GB’s very first medallist in para-taekwondo at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.
Munro is a former netball player who initially turned to javelin to pursue her Paralympic dream. Outside of sport, Beth has a master’s degree in psychology.
Scouted by Disability Sport Wales, the Liverpudlian was asked to attend regular training sessions in Cardiff which eventually resulted in her taking up Para taekwondo.
Beth has continued her impressive prowess in the sport as she was crowned European champion in 2022 along with Silver at the 2023 World Championships.
